Messaging Therapy — because healing doesn’t happen once a week.

Therapy that meets you where life actually happens

Most people don’t struggle once a week.
They struggle in the middle of a conversation.
After a text.
Before saying no.
When something hits and they don’t know why.

Messaging therapy exists for those moments.

Instead of saving everything for a scheduled hour, you can write when something is happening and get thoughtful, grounded support that helps you slow things down and respond differently.

How it works

You can message me anytime using text or audio.
There’s no pressure to be polished or make sense right away.

I sign in once a day, Sunday through Thursday, and respond thoughtfully to what you’ve shared.
Responses are not instant, but they are consistent and intentional.

Most clients receive:

  • Clarifying reflections

  • Emotional grounding

  • Help naming what’s actually going on

  • Guidance on how to respond instead of react

Over time, this builds a steadier internal voice that you can access on your own.

Why messaging can be more effective than weekly sessions

Weekly sessions rely on memory.
Messaging works with what’s alive right now.

Instead of talking about your reactions later, we work with them as they happen.

This helps you:

  • Catch patterns earlier

  • Practice regulation in real situations

  • Reduce spirals instead of analyzing them afterward

  • Build emotional independence over time

The goal isn’t to rely on me.
It’s to strengthen the part of you that can pause, listen, and respond with clarity.

What messaging therapy is (and isn’t)

Messaging therapy is:

  • Ongoing emotional support

  • A place to process triggers and reactions

  • A way to practice new responses in real life

  • Structured, intentional, and relational

Messaging therapy is not:

  • Crisis support

  • Instant back-and-forth texting

  • Advice on demand

  • A replacement for emergency care

This work is about steadiness, not urgency.

Who this works best for

Messaging therapy tends to work especially well if you:

  • Overthink conversations after they happen

  • Struggle with people-pleasing or guilt

  • Feel emotionally overwhelmed but don’t know why

  • Want support without sitting on video for hours

  • Value reflection and consistency over intensity

If you’re looking for quick fixes or immediate replies, this likely won’t be a good fit.

What’s included

  • Daily review and response Sunday through Thursday

  • Support via text and voice messages

  • Space to write as much as you need, when you need

  • Periodic written summaries that reflect progress, themes, and growth

This structure creates continuity and depth without pressure.

Cost

Messaging therapy is offered as a monthly package.

$300/month
(Rate increases to $350/month beginning February)

If you’re considering this, it’s okay to take time.
This work is most effective when it feels like a grounded yes.

A note on pace and expectations

You don’t need to write every day.
Some days you’ll write a lot.
Some days you won’t write at all.

Both are part of the process.

The healing comes from learning how to pause, notice, and respond differently, not from volume.
