Thanks for sharing this. It’s powerful to hear how your journey unfolded over time. That process of revisiting and transforming old pain, especially later in life, takes serious courage and commitment. Recognizing triggers not just as obstacles but as signals to explore deeper is exactly what leads to lasting growth.
By the way, it’s inspiring how you managed this intense inner work while running such a big entrepreneurial experiment. Balancing that much external pressure with deep emotional healing is no small feat.
Stay in touch. We are doing a big strategy for the coaching industry. You would probably be a great workshop partner, group lead, or perhaps be on an event panel.
Will do. I’d love to learn more about your coaching strategy and explore potential ways to collaborate, whether as a workshop partner, group lead, or event panelist. Let’s definitely stay in touch!
It can be so hard to tell sometimes: What feels like love might actually be that rush of limerence or a trauma bond pulling at old wounds. The nervous system often blurs the lines between those intense early feelings and deeper connection. Recognizing that distinction is a huge step toward breaking the cycle and choosing a love that feels steady and safe.
Great to meet you here! I appreciate your insight and openness about these tricky emotional dynamics. Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts and experiences.
"Chemistry is a sign you're being triggered". Love that.
If I understand correctly, you are acknowledging that there can be an evolution of what creates chemistry. As a person evolves and heals and reclaims their inner self, they can get excited about a potential partner for the right reasons.
Yes, exactly. There is definitely an evolution in what creates chemistry as we heal and reclaim our inner selves. The difference is that it doesn’t hit as hard or fast like the old “chemistry” used to. Instead, it warms up slowly, deeply, and authentically. It’s real connection, a sustained fire, not a spark that burns out quickly.
Absolutely! That sustained fire of connection is what real chemistry looks like. Something that grows from healing and self-awareness, not just a quick spark. It’s about a deeper, more authentic bond that feels safe and alive, not frantic or exhausting. Wishing it for us all.
Solid post. The trigger is my lesson. When I did my first shadow weekend back in 2011 the feeling workshops felt ridiculous. Early days for sure.
Years later after Gene Keys, regressions, and entering the emotional plane of consciousness in an active way I’m able to understand what you wrote.
It’s not my strong area. Going through “middle school” again in my 50s to fully transform that pain into realized purpose was not easy.
Doing it while running a massive entrepreneur experiment felt nearly impossible. Now, I’m able to not only deal with the trigger but look for it.

Love? Or limerence? 😂
(Srsly it can be hard to tell! Or is it a trauma bond!?)
Love the question! Love the humor too!

That's what we need more of!
